Reading was a bore but Reno was skilled in it all the same. He was used to reading dense tomes from assorted postmodern authors. If you can get through Gilles Deleuze without throwing the book half-way across the room in disgust, then Reno figured that he could get through this chapter. It was straightforward, after all.
